My Diary

Probably one of the best experiences a European, or a person living in a non-tropical country, can have. Trekking down the mountains in the middle of the jungle. The feeling or the situation can be easily compared to the popular TV series „Lost“, where a group of people travel along the tropical island to find their way to survive and reach the next destination.
These kinds of trips can be made as few hours or as far as some days. This is definitely one of the attractions that international adventure to...

Padang is located along the shore of Indian Ocean, and Bukit Lampu is the best place in our city to view the beautiful ocean. In a sunny day, you can over look the small islands around Padang and also some ships departing from Teluk Bayur, which reminds of Padang as a main port in Sumatra from the Dutch colonization era. If you are lucky enough, you can climb up the lamp to enjoy a better view from the top, and also experience the small adventure inside Japanese tunnel. When you enter the Japanese tunnel,...

My friends and I had a very enjo...

Sietske Bruining, a student from Wageningen University, decided to have her last winter holiday in Indonesia.
